Last month, exports exceeded $55.4 billion, reaching an all-time high in our trade history.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced today (1st) that exports in July recorded $55.44 billion, up 29.6% from the same period last year.

This amount of exports is the highest in 65 years since trade statistics began to be compiled in 1956.

The previous high was $55.12 billion in September 2017.

As a result, monthly exports increased for the ninth consecutive month since November last year.

Export growth slowed from 39.8% in June due to a decline in the base effect of COVID-19.

Imports rose 38.2% to $53.67 billion.

The trade balance reached 1.76 billion dollars, continuing a surplus for 15 consecutive months.
