The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development announced the opening of registration for the fourth edition of the Venthurst Entrepreneurship Camp for the summer of 2022, which aims to empower Emirati youth and residents, within the two age groups between 10 and 14 years, and 14 and 18 years, by providing them with basic entrepreneurial skills. And developing their individual capabilities in dealing with commercial projects, including the most important requirements for establishing a business, skills to deal with commercial challenges, and promoting digital culture in a market where technology is rapidly increasing in importance.

The fund stated in a statement that this version is distinguished from its predecessors, as it will require actual attendance, not virtual, as in the previous three versions, as the camp is scheduled to be held in the Abu Dhabi Youth Center in three groups, the first from July 13 to July 22, and the second from 25 July to August 4th, and the latest from August 8th to August 18th.

Alia Abdullah Al Mazrouei, CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, said: “We are pleased that things are returning to normal, and the launch of a new version of the (Ventureate) program, during which students communicate with each other face to face, after three copies of the program were organized by default in compliance with the precautionary measures resulting from the pandemic. (Covid-19), which has achieved success despite its remote organization.”

Al Mazrouei stressed the keenness of the Khalifa Fund to find new innovative opportunities that would empower Emirati youth and residents of all nationalities, and enhance their promising entrepreneurial abilities and skills, noting that the Fund is looking forward to organizing an advanced summer camp, targeting young people interested in projects and entrepreneurship.

She said, "Through the summer camp, we aspire to help young people develop an accurate understanding of entrepreneurship, by enriching their knowledge of it, which will enhance their chances of success, as future entrepreneurs."
