A story was told that a driver who had a light contact with a police car was asked to apply for personal insurance from police officers during the insurance process.

On the 21st, an article titled 'What happens if the police asks for an in-person application and I refuse it' was posted on an online community.

The author reported that while he was backing up with his blinker turned on to turn the car, he collided with the right bumper of a nearby police car.

In the photo shared with them, there was a scratch on the front bumper of the police car in the accident.

The author said, 'Let's make an agreement,' but the police said they could not reach an agreement, so they went through the insurance process.

After that, the insurance company said that the police wanted to file a personal application.

Netizens who came across the story also responded that they did not understand the police officers' actions, although they seemed to have touched it.

Regarding this, the police explained through a media outlet, 'It seems that a misunderstanding has occurred while it is proceeding as a simple water skin case.'

The driver also said that the police apologized and that the job was completed successfully by canceling the in-person application.
