"Suqur Al-Jedyan" loses a friendly against Niger in Dubai

The Sudanese football team lost its international friendly match the day before yesterday against its counterpart Niger, with two goals against a goal at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club in Dubai, as part of the preparations of the “Golden Falcons” for the upcoming benefits, foremost of which is the finals of the African Nations Cup qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. The two teams will return to another friendly experience on Thursday, while the Sudanese team will conclude its camp in Dubai on Friday.

The Niger team advanced with two goals through Zachary (15) and Lampedo (60), before the Sudanese player Moaz Abdel Rahim reduced the difference (63) by scoring the only goal for his country.

The fans of the Sudanese community residing in the country that attended the match raised banners in the stands, expressing their love, thanks and appreciation to the UAE.

The match represented a useful experience for the technical staff of the Sudanese team, led by French coach Hubert Veloud, who looked at the weaknesses, flaws and negatives in the team's ranks.

Yesterday, the Football Association held a lunch party at the Intercontinental Festival Center Hotel in Dubai in honor of the Sudanese media delegation. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Football Association, Mohamed Hazam Al Dhaheri, and the director of the Sudanese national teams, Dr. Hassan Bargo.

The Sudanese delegation included Abdel-Khaleq Al-Sharif, Atef Al-Jamasi, Badr Al-Din Al-Basha, Youssef Mohamed Youssef, representing the Sudanese Radio, Mutassim Mahmoud, Ayman Kaboush and Hatem Al-Taj.
