Recently, "Wangjiagong Rice" in Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, carrying the Long March 5B carrier rocket, has been harvested. This is another harvest of this space breeding material after its first successful trial last year.
Wangjiagong rice No. 1 and No. 2 are the key varieties cultivated by Wangjiagong rice, which have the characteristics of good taste and genetic stability.
In May last year, these two varieties stood out from the thousands of nationally contested varieties and were selected for the Long March 5B launch vehicle pilot project.
In October of the same year, the first batch of "space seeds" was successfully planted.
