The General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai discussed, with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, the gradual return of the tourism movement in the emirate, and the required cooperation and coordination at the highest levels to ensure a strong return to tourism, taking into account ensuring that the health and safety of visitors continues to be a priority. In light of the efforts the world is witnessing to contain the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), and to find appropriate solutions that contribute to ensuring the sustainability of the tourism system and business continuity.
This came during a meeting with the Director General of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Major General Muhammad Ahmad Al-Marri, with the Director-General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, Hilal Saeed Al-Marri, in the presence of the legal advisor for "Dubai Residence", Brigadier Dr. Ali Ajif Al Zaabi, and the assistant director General for the Entry and Residence Permits Sector, Colonel Dr. Omar Al Shamsi, and a number of officials.
Major General Al-Marri said: “We are committed to continuous coordination with our partners to provide the highest standards of comfort and reassurance to travelers, and are keen to take all preventive measures and measures that guarantee the safety of our employees and passengers. Dubai has enormous potentials capable of overcoming this crisis and remaining among the preferred tourist destinations for travel. ”
For his part, the Director General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, Hilal Saeed Al-Marri, valued the great efforts made by "Dubai Residence" in facilitating the entry and exit procedures for travelers according to the highest standards of health and safety, and providing them with excellent services to make them happy.
