On April 2, the "Questioning Classics-Pang Ran Contemporary Jade Art Exhibition" sponsored by the China Jewelry, Jade and Jewelry Industry Association opened at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing.

The audience admired more than 30 sets of jade carvings created by Pang Ran, a master of Chinese jade carving, Henan Province's arts and crafts master, and senior arts and crafts artist in recent years.

Among them, the jade book group of "The Analects" engraved a total of 15,900 characters of the main article of "The Analects", distributed on 12 jade plates.

This set of jade book carvings also includes four jade plates of "The Sacred Relics of Confucius" weighing 2685 grams, a plaque of "The Analects of Confucius" weighing 1877 grams, and a round statue of Confucius weighing 749 grams.

The raw material for the full set of works is a piece of Hetian jade seed material weighing 32 kilograms.
