Push this door open and meet the most beautiful Jiayuguan!

Located in northwest China, Jiayuguan is a rich area of Silk Road culture, Great Wall culture, frontier fortress culture, and Wei-Jin culture.

In recent years, as China’s northwestern travel has continued to heat up, Jiayuguan, which has unique resources of the Great Wall, has dug into the "Great Wall Story", which has attracted many tourists to check in.

Now follow our Xiaoxin and spend three days and two nights eating and drinking to enjoy this popular ancient Silk Road city.

The place to check in on the first day must be Jiayuguan’s most distinctive Great Wall resource. Its walls are 43.6 kilometers, trenches 12.94 kilometers, 8 Guanbaos, 49 beacon towers and enemy platforms, covering all types of the Ming Great Wall in Gansu.

You must run through all the Jiayuguan cultural relics and scenic spots. From south to north, there is the first beacon tower at the westernmost end of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty-"the first pier in the world", the first male pass in the world-Jiayuguan, and the "Great Wall hanging upside down with iron arms hanging in the air" ——The Great Wall of the Suspended Wall, which together form a complete military defense system at Jiayuguan, spanning more than 15 kilometers from north to south.

The first stop on the first day: punch in the "Cantilever Great Wall" and take you to climb the 45-degree wall

The Great Cantilever Wall is the northward extension of Jiayuguan Pass. It is an important part of the ancient military defense system of Jiayuguan. It was built in the 18th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1539). At 750 meters, the cantilevered Great Wall is also the last Great Wall when the Great Wall was injected into Jiayuguan Pass. It is known as the end of the Great Wall.

The second stop on the first day: check in "the first pier of the Great Wall" to find the starting point of the western end of the Great Wall

If I say, the Great Wall does not start from Jiayuguan in the west?

Do you believe it?

You can see the huge pier behind me. It looks very ordinary. In fact, it is the true western starting point of the Great Wall of China.

The red Han and Tang dynasty costumes set off the yellowed pier, so as to show the age of the annual rings.

Built on the cliffs of the Qilai River Gorge, facing Qilian Mountain across the river, although there has long been no war here, after the rain washes, it resembles an old veteran, stubbornly resisting the temper of the years.

Standing here, the intention of the ancients to build the first pier is self-evident, meditating along the Great Wall and the river valley, and the historical pictures of the zip line on the Lai River and the natural danger suspension bridge will also be looming in their minds.

The third stop of the first day: check in "the world's first male pass" to listen to the legendary story that has stood for a thousand years

Jiayuguan Pass, known as the "No. 1 Pass in the World", is the end of the world-famous Great Wall. It has been a battleground for military in all dynasties. Today, Guancheng is also the first stop when you come to Jiayuguan.

There are many legends and stories in the world, which has been standing for thousands of years. Among them, "Dingcheng Bricks" and "Strike Stone Yanming" are the most famous.

The last stop of the first day: Check in the epic drama "Tian Xia Xiong Guan" to feel the charm of the frontier drama blessed by technology

"Tian Xia Xiong Guan" is China's first frontier fortress epic drama. It cost 320 million yuan (RMB) to build in three years. It uses a lot of cutting-edge technology and difficult actions, including 3D holographic projection, 3D flight, water screen quicksand and high-altitude Wia. There are also a large number of foreign actors participating in this drama.

The first stop of the second day: check in the "Fantawild Silk Road God Painting" and experience the journey across the Silk Road in one day

Jiayuguan Fangte Silk Road God Painting Theme Park is different from traditional theme parks. It focuses on the cultural characteristics of the Silk Road. There are several unique indoor projects that you must come to experience!

With a super curved screen, the charm of Kyushu is based on the story of five thousand years of Chinese civilization. It can accommodate a thousand viewers at the same time. The rich audio-visual experience will take you through history and re-walk the Silk Road.

Walk into Nuwa to patch up the sky and board the treasure hunting boat. The realistic 3D graphics and thrilling shuttle boats will surely make you hooked.

Walking among the treasures of Dunhuang, the exquisite murals and statues full of walls make people feel like they are in the Mogao Grottoes of Dunhuang, wear special glasses, dream back to the Western Regions in a second, and follow the clever nine-color deer, jumping in the splendid Buddhist world .

Sitting on the large revolving seat in the Cowherd and Weaver Girl project, the menacing thunder father and electric mother and the flying fairies seem to be within reach.

The second stop on the second day: check in "Caohu National Wetland Park" and stroll the Gobi "Jiangnan"

On the flight, I saw the desolation of the Gobi in the northwest. I thought about it and thought that this trip would eventually miss the green, but the green after landing was so amazing ~ strolling in the Jiangnan water town on the Gobi can only make me sigh for the poor words of ancient poets.

If you love the vastness and heroism of the desert, and the wonders of Gobi, sand scenes, oasis, wetlands, and lakes, Jiayuguan is a perfect encounter you should not miss.

If you walk into the Jiayuguan Caohu National Wetland Park in the season of migratory birds, you must see the beautiful scenery of the long sky with long grass warblers and cranes dancing, various birds soaring in the air, pacing in the water, walking among the reeds... …Lakes, water plants, rare birds and birds accompanied by the dreamy sand rhyme at the foot of the Great Wall, a beautiful sand sea wonder.

The third stop on the second day: check in "Jiayuguan Barbecue" to taste the intangible cultural heritage that has been recorded thousands of years ago

When you come to Jiayuguan, one of the must-eat delicacies is Jiayuguan barbecue. How famous is the barbecue at Jiayuguan?

It was recorded in the tomb of the Wei and Jin Dynasties 1800 years ago.

A table of fragrant and characteristic barbecue with a bucket of cold beer, three or five friends get together, guessing and chatting, talking and laughing toasting, what you eat is the boldness and enthusiasm of the Northwesterners, and what you enjoy is the full of human fireworks .

The final stop on the third day: check in the "Jiayuguan Weijin Tomb" to see the "comic" thousands of years ago

There is a vast desert 20 kilometers northeast of Jiayuguan City. Do you think this is just a plain Gobi Desert?

In fact, it is not. There are more than 1,400 ancient tombs from the Wei and Jin period scattered under my feet. This is the famous Jiayuguan Wei and Jin tomb, which is also known as "the world's largest underground gallery".

We excavated 18 of the tombs, and unearthed more than 760 brick murals. The content of these paintings involved all aspects of the time.

What we see are agricultural production, silkworm breeding, animal husbandry, and what people eat and wear?

Music and dance and other aspects.

After seeing the tomb of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, there is still plenty of time to catch a plane to book a high-speed rail. After three days and two nights of travel, do you have a new understanding of Jiayuguan?

In fact, Gansu is a province with very rich tourism resources. Each city has different characteristics. We look forward to the next video.
