This is the first time that China has achieved a "one-stop" launch of a launch vehicle at sea, that is, the integration of final assembly, total testing, port departure, and launch, shortening the mission period by one-third, and reducing transportation costs and possible risks during the transportation process. The high-frequency, batch launch has laid a solid foundation.

The Long March 11 carrier rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is mainly used for sun-synchronous orbit and low-Earth orbit payload launch missions, and supports single-satellite launch, multi-satellite launch, constellation rapid networking and network supplementary launch.

Up to now, the Long March 11 carrier rocket has carried out a total of 13 launch missions, including 10 land launches and 3 sea launches, sending a total of 58 satellites into space.

There will also be one to three sea launches planned this year, including low-inclination circular orbits and sun-synchronous orbits.

The five satellites launched this time are optical remote sensing technology satellites funded and developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. They are mainly used to obtain high-resolution visible light push-broom images and video images.

After the five satellites are networked with the in-orbit Jilin-1 satellite, they will provide users in industries such as forestry, agriculture, grassland, ocean, resources, environment, and urban construction with more abundant remote sensing data and product services.

It is reported that this is the 418th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
