The "National High School Broadcasting Contest" was held for the first time in two years, in which high school students from all over the country competing for techniques such as announcements and program production, and the winners and winning works were decided.

Approximately 12,000 people from 1433 high schools nationwide participated in the 68th contest this year.



Last year's tournament was canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, so it was held for the first time in two years, and the final held in Tokyo on the 29th was a voice submitted in advance so as not to let people enter the venue as much as possible as an infection control measure. And the video was played and judged, and the situation was delivered online.

As a result of the examination, Mr. Hinano Shimosaki, a third-year student at Saitama Prefectural Urawa Daiichi Girls' High School, won the announcement category.

In the reading category, Aomori Akenohoshi High School 3rd year student Kowa Kudo won the championship.

The winning work in each category of the program was "Gong for USA" by Usa High School in Oita Prefecture, whose radio document category was selected.

The TV document section is "Recommendations for club activities" at Hamamatsu City High School in Shizuoka Prefecture.

The creative radio drama section is "Is that okay?" At Sapporo Daiichi High School in Hokkaido.

The creative TV drama section was "Someday you" at Saitama Prefectural Fukaya Daiichi High School.



The winning works of the TV program will be introduced on E-tele "Teen's Video", and the winning works of the radio program will be broadcast on FM "Teen's Radio", both of which are scheduled to be introduced around autumn.
