"Molafi" will affect the central and northern parts of the South China Sea

  This year’s No. 18 typhoon "Molafi" has intensified into a strong typhoon level today (27th) morning, and its center is still located on the southeastern South China Sea about 505 kilometers southeast of Yongxing Island in Xisha, Hainan Province at 5 o'clock. The maximum wind force nearby is 14 levels (42 m/s), and the lowest air pressure in the center is 955 hPa.

  It is expected that "Molafi" will move to the northwest at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, and the intensity will remain or slightly increase. On the 27th, it will pass through the Zhongsha Islands and the Paracel Islands and head towards the central coast of Vietnam. It will land on the aforementioned coast (typhoon or strong typhoon, 12-14, 35-42 m/s) on the morning of the 28th, and the intensity will gradually weaken thereafter.

  Affected by the "Molafi" and cold air, from 08:00 on the 27th to 08:00 on the 28th, Bashi Strait, most of the South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, Qiongzhou Strait, Huangyan Island, Zhongsha Islands, Paracel Islands, northern Nansha Islands and There are 7-8 strong winds along the coast of Hainan Island, of which winds in the central and southern parts of the South China Sea can reach 9-10. Medium-intensity cold air affects Northeast China
