The National Center of Meteorology stated that the wave of laden dust witnessed by some regions of the country yesterday led to a decrease in the horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 metres, pointing out that the lowest visibility recorded yesterday was 100 meters over "Al Hamra" in the Al Dhafra region and Umm Shaif field. .

The center confirmed the continuation of the movement and spread of the wave of carrying dust towards the south and east to affect most regions of the country, while the density of dust decreases over the eastern and northern regions. It is expected that the dust will gradually decrease from today on most regions of the country and the weather will remain dusty in general during the day.

The center stated that the weather tomorrow will be humid in the morning over some interior areas in the east, becoming dusty during the day, with a decrease in temperatures, while the winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk at times, especially on the sea, that will raise dust and dust during the day, ranging from Its speed ranges from 15 to 35 km / h, up to 40 km / h on the sea, which is turbulent in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium waves, turbulent at night in the Sea of ​​Oman.
