【Explanation】The Loess Plateau in December is very cold.

But in the shiitake mushroom greenhouse in Miaowan Town, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, it is warm. Mushroom farmers are picking off-season shiitake mushrooms in the shed.

After selection, packaging, transportation and other processes, these shiitake mushrooms, which are shaped like "small umbrellas", will not only enter the dining tables of many families, but also make the pockets of farmers bulge and the days become "fragrant".

Miaowan Town, located in the north of Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, has superior ecological environment and resources, and the development of mushroom industry has unique advantages.

In June 2018, Miaowan Township began planning to build Miaowan Mushroom Town.

After more than 3 years of development, it has invested 187 million yuan to build 8 mushroom planting bases, 1 technical core area, more than 1,200 mushroom greenhouses and related supporting facilities.

"Little shiitake mushrooms" are becoming a "big industry" for the revitalization of local villages.

As the “leading” enterprise in the mushroom industry in Miaowan Town, Tongchuan Dexiang Industrial Co., Ltd. has driven poverty-stricken households in Miaowan out of poverty and increased their income through asset custody, share dividends, “borrowing sticks to return mushrooms”, and business work, etc., to maximize the embedding of farmers in Shiitake mushroom industry.

[Concurrent] Sun Min, deputy general manager of Shaanxi Tongchuan Dexiang Industrial Co., Ltd.

Our shiitake mushroom industry is mainly a labor-intensive industry, which uses a relatively large amount of labor.

Starting in 2019, our side is developing this shiitake mushroom cultivation.

The farmer's wages ranged from 90 to 120 yuan a day at the earliest, and it has grown to this year. From this year on, we have developed this farmer to contract this mushroom greenhouse.

Since the beginning of this year, we have (farmers) contracted a total of 78 greenhouses, and the farmer’s minimum income is between 20,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan, and the highest income is between 80,000 yuan and 90,000 yuan. income.

[Explanation] Sun Min said that in the next step, the company will provide farmers with technical guidance, assistance and product recycling throughout the entire process, so that farmers can grow mushrooms with "zero burden" and "zero pressure" to achieve self-reliance and poverty alleviation.

A "little shiitake mushroom" prospered the country and went abroad.

In 2020, due to the impact of the epidemic, Sun Min’s company and foreign customers such as South Korea used online communication to show each other a panoramic view of the production environment of shiitake mushroom sticks and the effect of the fruiting experiment after the mushroom sticks mature. Less recognition from foreign customers.

Sun Min said that from January to November this year, more than 2 million bags of shiitake mushroom sticks have been exported to the United States and South Korea.

Alleviating poverty and not returning to poverty, consolidating the results of poverty alleviation and preventing the risk of returning to poverty are the current focus of China's efforts to effectively link the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.

The development of characteristic industries is the "good recipe" for consolidating and expanding the results of poverty alleviation, and it is also the "source" of the development of rural revitalization.

According to statistics, the mushroom industry has driven 1,500 households in 9 villages in Miaowan Town and surrounding towns to achieve an annual dividend of 2.402 million yuan.

The local mushroom farmer Liu Aili is in charge of turning the bag of shiitake mushrooms in the greenhouse. The dark skin and simple language of the farmer’s family are her first impression.

When it comes to the changes that small mushrooms have brought to life, Liu Aili is very touched.

In the past, you were farming at home, and you couldn't make much money from farming. You couldn't do the work if you wanted to. If you walk far away, you won't be able to get home.

It is convenient for me to open a shiitake mushroom factory here. It is also close to the house, and I can still see the house. I can also work here and subsidize my family life.

All of a sudden, people's burdens are not so heavy.

First of all, you can get what the baby wants.

What the baby wanted before, you were still under pressure.

Life slowly gets better.

[Explanation] Liu Aili has worked in the mushroom greenhouse for more than a year. Through local policy support, she has contracted more than 30,000 bags of mushroom sticks this year, and her income will reach about 50,000 yuan.

In Liu Aili's view, as long as you work hard in the greenhouse, your life will become more and more prosperous.
