In the Iranian presidential election, hard-line conservative Seyed Ebrahim Laishi is expected to win the presidential election by far ahead of his opponents, Iranian state TV reported.



According to reports, as a result of counting 28.6 million votes so far, the hard-line conservative candidate Laishi has won 17.8 million or 62% of the votes, far ahead of reformist Hemmati, who received only 2.4 million votes.



The total number of voters in the Iranian presidential election this year is about 59.3 million, and polling stations have been set up in 72,000 places across the country for the election.
