They were thousands, throughout France, to demonstrate yesterday to defend the health system at the call of several collectives and unions of hospital and liberal professionals.
They are asking for more resources and personnel to improve the working conditions of those who remain, because desertions are legion.
This is the case with Anne.

"I thought I was going to die on the job."
Hard and strong words, launched by Anne during the demonstration on Saturday in Paris.
At the call of several collectives and unions of hospital and liberal professionals, thousands of caregivers and people from civil society marched yesterday.
Among them, Anne, on sick leave for burnout for two years.
"I had a very, very serious peak in hypertension. I could not speak for 15 days. I could not get up, I did not understand what was happening", she explains for Europe 1. She left her nursing job in Paris exhausted, and said she was unable to set foot in the hospital again.

An "inhuman work overload"
"I didn't want to kill myself, but I wanted things to stop," she says.
"All of this is the result of managements which are completely ridiculous, which no longer concern themselves with human beings."
And to argue that the working conditions were no longer decent: "There was an inhuman overload of work, and I am a hard worker!"
She recounts the days spent doing administrative work, while her "job is to welcome people".
“It didn't make sense anymore,” she said with emotion, “despite the time that has passed” since her stop.
"The hospital has been crumbling for years, it's terrible. It's a national gem."
