The story of a private taxi driver in Busan looking for a so-called 'eat-and-run' customer who ran away without paying the taxi fare was revealed.
On the 24th, on the YouTube channel Han Moon-cheol TV, a video titled 'I reported it in the hopes that other drivers would not suffer such free-riding damage' was posted.
According to the video, taxi driver A in his 60s, the informant, picked up female customer B in Yeonsan-dong, Busan around 8:43 a.m. on the morning of the 13th, and drove 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive at a residential area in Changwon, the destination.

The fare on the meter was 57,760 won.
Mr. B pointed to a nearby building and asked, "Chief, may I go over there and get some money?"
When asked where Mr. A was, Mr. B replied, "This is my house. It takes 5 minutes, less than 5 minutes."
When Mr. A said he would know without any doubt, Mr. B got out of the taxi, came to the driver's side window, asked for the fare, and disappeared toward the building.

However, Mr. B did not return after an hour, and Mr. A returned to Busan after reporting to the nearby district office.
Person A explained, "I did not report it to the police and report it to receive a taxi fare.
Netizens who came across the story were outraged with comments such as "It seems that words and actions are natural", "If you were born as a human, you should live like a human", and "I hope you get caught soon".
Free-riding is punishable by a fine of not more than 100,000 won in accordance with the Misdemeanor Punishment Act.
However, if habitual or intentional is recognized, it is a crime of fraud under the Criminal Act and can be punished by imprisonment for up to 10 years or a fine of not more than 20 million won.
