A man in his 50s who spit in another person's face saying he was infected with Corona was sentenced to prison in the first trial.



The Seoul Central District Court, the 23rd independent criminal judge (Judge Lee Kwang-yeol) announced today (4th) that he sentenced A to 1 year and 6 months in prison for charges such as special intimidation, special assault, and obstruction of business.



On November 29, 2020, Mr. A was sent to trial on charges of spitting at a party eating at a restaurant in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, saying, "I have Corona," and threatening them with a soju bottle and fork.



Mr. A was also charged with obstruction of business by entering a clothing store in Bucheon while drunk and making obscene rumors such as "Let's fall in love" with the owner.



As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A had a history of similar crimes several times in the past, including being sentenced to 8 months in prison for obstruction of business and being released from prison.



The court said, "Mr. A was drunk and threatened or assaulted others with dangerous objects, etc., and disrupted business." I did.
