The 12th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court (Chief Judge An Dong-beom) held the first trial of plastic surgeon A (52), who was arrested and charged with quasi-rape, rape, forced molestation, and violation of the Medical Law on the 31st.



According to the prosecution, Mr. A is accused of committing a total of 12 sexual offenses from July 2020 to August 2021 after he poisoned his patients by administering the general anesthesia inducer etomidate. receive

When the trial began, Mr. A said, "I deny all charges prosecuted by the prosecution," and admitted some of the violations of the medical law, but denied all charges related to sex crimes.



In response to the question of "Is there any criminal charges despite the fact that there are multiple charges?", he argued, "I can admit some of the violations of the medical law, but I deny all of the sexual offenses."



He added, "I will respond in writing to the denial (related to the sexual assault allegation) in order to protect the victims."
