On Saturday, May 23, in the territory of the Moscow Region, the access system, which was introduced on April 15 in order to combat the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, ceases to operate. This was announced by the Governor of Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov.

“Electronic passes are no longer needed in the suburbs. If you go to Moscow, the passes already issued will be valid until May 27, and for new trips from Tuesday they must be issued at mos.ru. The capital has a different population density, so the measure is still there, ”Vorobyov wrote in his Instagram.

At the same time, Vorobyov noted that the regime of digital passes and other measures, coupled with the responsible approach of citizens to compliance with restrictions and the heroism of doctors “helped to avoid a negative scenario."

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that starting May 27, it will be possible to travel around the capital only using Moscow digital passes.

Along with this, Vorobyov said that the mask is becoming a mandatory standard in public places and transport. In addition, gloves are recommended.

“If a person without a mask is nearby, at least he endangers himself and others. The explanation is simple: out of 100 patients with covid, 60–80 do not have any symptoms. They just carry the virus. I am sure that none of us wants to be on the ventilator or endanger the lives of our loved ones. Therefore, masks, gloves, disinfection - this is very important, this is a new culture that needs to be taken very seriously, ”Vorobyov explained.

Later in an interview with Russia 1, he emphasized that a fine was imposed for violating the mask regime. According to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Moscow Region, the sanction will amount to 4 thousand rubles.

The Governor of the Moscow Region also said that starting May 25, sales offices at housing construction sites, car dealerships and car sharing services (with a rental vehicle for five days or more) will start operating. In addition, multifunctional centers for the provision of public services will open in several stages. Earlier in the region, construction and industrial enterprises started operating.

In addition, Vorobyov emphasized that the situation with the spread of coronavirus is stable, but it is too early to say that there are no risks for its deterioration. At the same time, the healthcare system of the Moscow Region is no longer “under a terrible load”.

“We have stabilized on the number of detection of patients with coronavirus of the order of 890–920, which is lower than last week - 900–1000. There is a decrease in hospitalization, high discharge. From 20 to 50 people are added per day to our beds. Before that, the figures were 300, 200, 150 people a day, ”the governor said.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin said that the Russian capital managed to avoid the worst-case scenario for the development of the situation with coronavirus, but strict restrictions still need to be maintained.

At the same time, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova pointed out that Russia has reached a plateau in terms of incidence. At the same time, President Vladimir Putin issued a warning despite the improving epidemiological situation.

“Gradually leaving the regimes of restrictions in which we still live to a large extent today, we need to think about what the experts here and their colleagues abroad are talking about - there may also be another wave that is possible somewhere in the fall, end of October - November. We should also bear this in mind and be prepared for such a development of the situation, ”Putin said during a meeting on the sanitary-epidemiological situation in the country.
