The judo team of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club won the second place in the Fifth International Kuroshka Championship for Youth and Men, which was held in the city of Dravograd in Slovenia, after winning five medals (two gold, two silver and one bronze).

The Executive Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, described what has been achieved as a new international achievement that reflects the generous care of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council of the Federation and Ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah, for sports and athletes in the emirate, and the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, The Crown Prince of Fujairah, which has greatly contributed to the development of sports in the emirate and its achievement of various biases.

Al-Zeyoudi congratulated the club's players for winning medals and the shield for second place, and expressed in a press statement his happiness with what was achieved, especially that the tournament was strong and had the participation of an elite group of distinguished players, with 175 players from 27 clubs from 13 countries.

The player Sultan Al-Houti won two gold and silver medals in the weight of 81 kilograms, while the player Saeed Al-Naqbi won the gold in the weight of 73, and the player Yazan Sumer won two silver and bronze medals in the weight of 60.

The team's coach, Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh, praised the performance of the players, stressing that they gave a distinguished return and won the admiration of the observers in the tournament. He extended thanks and appreciation to the club's management for the efforts that contributed to the achievement.
