Christiane Lambert was the guest of Europe 1 this Thursday morning.

At the microphone of Lionel Gougelot, the president of the FNSEA returned to the consequences of the heat wave and the drought for breeders and farmers.

While a milk shortage is expected in the fall, she lamented the fact that France "is the champion of low prices" and that bricks of milk are sold at unbeatable prices.

Christiane Lambert fears that milk producers will go out of business in the fall.

The drought that is hitting the country hard is seriously affecting crop yields and reducing fodder stocks that can feed livestock.
