"Fly Dubai" provides tickets and accommodation for 3 nights in "Al-Ula" Saudi Arabia, starting from 1899 dirhams

Yesterday, flydubai celebrated the opening of its regular flights to the Saudi city of Al-Ula, becoming the first airline to operate flights from Dubai to this city.

A company statement said that the inaugural flight arrived at Al-Ula International Airport (ULH), and was greeted by traditional water sprinklers, marking the start of the company's flights, which will be at a rate of two flights per week.

On board the inaugural flight was a high-level delegation headed by the CEO of "flydubai", Ghaith Al Ghaith, and members of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate.

Holiday Packages

With the launch of flights to Al-Ula, the "Fly Dubai" network in Saudi Arabia has now grown to six destinations, including: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and Yanbu.

According to "Fly Dubai", travelers can choose complete packages from "Fly Dubai Holidays" with travel packages suitable for everyone starting from 1899 dirhams, while the package prices include: return flights in economy class, and accommodation for three nights per person on a sharing basis Two adults per room, including taxes (room only).

Passengers can also customize their travel packages, adding optional extras such as travel insurance, airport transfers, or sightseeing tours.

He added, "The launch of our flights to Al-Ula reflects our commitment to strengthening cultural, commercial and tourism relations between the two brotherly countries, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and opening new markets for more travelers."

For his part, Head of Destination and Marketing Department at the Royal Commission for AlUla, Philip J. Jones, said: “At a time when AlUla continues its efforts to promote tourism and increase its visitors around the world, we are pleased that (flydubai) provides direct flights throughout the year from Dubai.” He stressed that the new flights will facilitate the movement of visitors from the important UAE market, and from all parts of the extensive international network of "Fly Dubai" to AlUla.

flydubai confirmed that travelers who book a flight to Dubai will receive a free seasonal entry card to visit Expo 2020 Dubai until March 31, 2022, pointing out that this initiative applies to all reservations made as of January 2020 to travel during the event dates.

And flydubai flights will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, to Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al Ula (ULH), starting from March 2, on Wednesday and Saturday.

Round-trip business class fares from Dubai to AlUla start from 3,500 dirhams, and economy class fares from 1,050 dirhams.

The prices of return tickets for business class from AlUla to Dubai start from 3,500 riyals, and prices for economy class from 1,050 riyals.
