The basketball supervisor at Al-Jazira Club, Abdullah Faraj, revealed the renewal of the club's collective games management, its contract with the Serbian coach, Marco Ilich, to lead the club's first team in the new season, the supervisor of the Sunni stages and the coach of the Syrian junior youth, Muhammad Qudsi.

Faraj told "Emirates Today": "The renewal of the contract with the Serbian Ilyich is due to the experiences he enjoys at the level of his previous training of the teams of the Sunni stages in his country, which falls within the context of our strategy, which aims to build a team that represents a mixture of expertise and talent. The young woman, the same thing that we look forward to continuing with the Syrian Muhammad Qudsi to renew him as a supervisor of the Sunni stages and a coach for the youth, because of the great experience that Qudsi has at the level of state clubs extending for more than 20 years.

He explained: “Ilyich is one of the most prominent coaches who succeeded at the level of the national teams in Europe, by leading Serbia to win the European silver for the (Under-18) teams in 2011, and in 2012 he won the gold in the World Championship, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from his experience in dealing with A segment of players between the ages of 18 and 20, as part of the strategy of building a future team for the club capable of achieving honorable results.

He added: “Within the same strategy, we are working to build strong teams in the Sunni stages, to match our aspirations with the experiences of the Syrian coach Muhammad Qudsi, who was entrusted with the task last year to assume the position of supervisor of the Sunni stages and the coach of the Al Jazeera youth team, before the renewal of confidence For an additional season, in light of the experiences of his long career in the country, during which he presented distinguished players, who now form the core of the national team, especially when he took over the training of the Sunni stages teams at Al-Ahly Youth Club.

Ilich leads the first team, and the Syrian Qudsi supervises the Sunni stages and is a coach for the youth.
