Verden (dpa / lni) - The police have delivered a wild chase with a car driver in Verden.
A patrol car had driven into a parking lot on Sunday night, there was a dark vehicle, the police said.
The driver sped away as soon as he saw the police.
He rammed his car into another parked car and fled through the village at a speed of 160 to 180 km.
He sped on the country roads at speeds of more than 200 kilometers per hour.
Due to the life-threatening driving style of the man, the officers lost sight of the car.
Search measures initiated immediately have so far remained unsuccessful.
According to the police, the car must have been severely damaged in the right rear area.
