Biebesheim (dpa / lhe) - In the case of a woman found dead in the bushes in southern Hesse, the husband is considered a suspect.
An arrest warrant for manslaughter was issued against him on Sunday, a police spokesman said.
The 27-year-old woman was found on Saturday in a bush in Biebesheim (Groß-Gerau district).
Despite immediate resuscitation attempts by the rescue service and the police, an emergency doctor could only determine the death of the woman, it was said.
The Darmstadt public prosecutor's office and the criminal police had started the investigation.
The 26-year-old husband of the dead was noticed by the officials because inconsistencies occurred during his interrogation.
He was taken to a correctional facility and is now in custody.
