Wiesbaden (dpa) - The SV Wehen Wiesbaden has missed the connection to the promotion ranks of the 3rd football league.
Despite a late goal from Maurice Malone (87th minute), the Hessians did not get beyond a 2: 2 (0: 1) against Viktoria Köln on Tuesday evening and are five points behind third place.
Before that, Phillip Tietz (64th) had already equalized.
Jeremias Lorch (21st) and Lucas Cueto (81st) met for the guests, for whom the previous chief scout Daniel Zillken acted as coach after Pavel Dotchev's dismissal.
The next third division game will be played by the SVWW on Saturday (2 p.m.) at 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
