Wakayama Prefecture announced on the 1st that it was newly confirmed that 13 men and women in their teens to 60s were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people confirmed per day in Wakayama Prefecture has exceeded 10 since the 10th of last month, the third highest ever.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is now 629.
