Al-Nasr club announced yesterday that it had signed a contract with the Uzbek international player, Dostunbek Khamdamov, from the Uzbek club Pakhtakor in a free transfer deal, just two days before the Al-Ahly youth summit in the 13th round of the Arab Gulf League, with which the brigadier concludes his matches in the first round.

Al-Nassr announced the contract, officially, for a season and a half, through the club’s official account on Twitter. He did not reveal the foreign player who would replace Khamdamov, although all indications point to the Dutch Brandley Kwas, who has been unsuccessful with the team since the start of the season.

On the other hand, Al-Nasr held a press conference for the Al-Ahly youth match, during which the coach of the Croatian team, Kronslav, affirmed his respect for the "Dubai Knights" and his good preparation for the match, and said: "Another big match that Al-Nassr will play before the end of the first round. There was room for comfort and preparation in the absence of international players, but things are good. We suffer some minor injuries, but it will be decided before the date of the match.

He added, "In general, he is satisfied with the Brigadier General in the first round of the tournament, and is only sad for the five points that Al-Nasr lost in front of Al-Wehda and Al-Ain. We wasted many opportunities and we could have won and toped the tournament, but this is in the past and we are now looking at the next matches."
