Växjö's Brendan Gaunce opened the scoring after just under three minutes of play, but just before the end of the first period, Leksand's Jonas Ahnelöv was able to equalize.
The second period was goalless and even in the third the goals were far behind.
With one minute and 20 seconds left, Växjö's Richard Gynge scored the match-winning 2-1.
Leksand is still in sixth place in the table, with 52 recorded points in 33 matches.
