As noted, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as two organizations from Myanmar are included in the black list of the American Ministry of Commerce.
The ministry clarified that the purpose of the decision is to limit the availability of certain goods and services for the military and security forces of Myanmar.
Earlier, in connection with the events in Myanmar, the United States added to the sanctions lists two people associated with the military leadership in the country.
