An ultra-low temperature freezer required for vaccine storage has been installed at the Kyushu Cancer Center, one of the hospitals in Fukuoka Prefecture that is subject to prior inoculation of the new coronavirus vaccine.

The Kyushu Cancer Center of the National Hospital Organization in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City is subject to advance vaccination of vaccines promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to medical staff at 100 hospitals nationwide.

On the 5th, the ultra-low temperature freezer required for vaccine storage by Pfizer Inc. of the United States arrived at the hospital and was immediately installed in the hospital.

According to the hospital, preparations are urgent, such as conducting a survey on the intention of receiving vaccinations for about 1,100 employees, but it is unknown at this time when the vaccine will arrive.

The hospital is expected to participate in the government's investigation into side effects of the vaccine and continue to check for changes in the physical condition of the vaccinated staff for nearly two months.

After inoculation in the hospital, vaccines used by nearby medical institutions will be stored in an ultra-low temperature freezer.

"I hope that the vaccine will spread safely to as many people as possible and be effective. I believe that it will be effective for the time being, and prove that there are no major side reactions," Dr. Fujiya Soshi told media outlets. I hope we can help you in doing so. "
