“By tradition, for Muscovites, we will decorate all Moscow transport, and travel to the Moscow Metro and the MCC will be free all New Year's Eve,” the department said.
Earlier, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that it was not planned to close the metro on New Year's Eve.
It was also reported that Moscow does not plan to impose restrictions on the operation of ice rinks on holidays.
