Tord Peterson has participated in a large number of Swedish films and TV series since the 1950s.

He is best known for his role as Ivar Pettersson in the "Änglagård" films.

He also starred in films such as The Christmas Oratory, The Good Will, and Popular Music from Vittula.

- We feel very happy to have had him with us for so long.

He has filled our lives with joy and a lot of witty and quirky antics.

We feel very lucky and will miss him very much, says daughter Katarina Tordsdotter to Dagens nyheter.

"A really great actor"

Helena Bergström played against Tord Peterson in Änglagård, but says that she grew up with him as one of the actors at the theater in Västerås, where her father was theater director in the late 60s.

- He was a really great actor.

He was such a great actor who was more in the shadows.

You have not seen him in too much, but I think he belongs to one of our legendary.

Extremely humble, professional and with a warmth, she says.
