Bad Wildungen (dpa) - The Bundesliga handball players of the Thuringian HC celebrated their first victory in 2021.
At HSG Bad Wildungen Vipers, the team of trainer Herbert Müller celebrated an undisputed 31:24 (15:13) success on Saturday and improved to fifth in the table with 17:11 points.
The outstanding player at THC was the Czech Marketa Jerabkova, who needed 19 attempts for her 14 hits.
For a long time, however, it didn't look like a clear success for THC.
Jerabkova and Co. were in the lead right from the start, but were unable to break away from the strong hosts.
At 23:23, the Vipers even managed to equalize again in the 45th minute, before the Thuringians successfully finished the game with an 8-1 run.
