Covid Vaccination in Madrid will begin on Sunday
The upward trend in coronavirus infections in the Community of Madrid for the second consecutive week will cause other neighborhoods and probably also municipalities in the region to be confined to the perimeter.
The Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso will
announce the details of the locations this Saturday
and the prohibition to enter and leave them except for justified reasons will come into force in principle from midnight on Monday. In total there are 12 new Basic Health Zones

400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days
, according to the latest epidemiological data made public by the Ministry of Health.

They would join Andrés Mellado, also in Chamberí, and Sanchinarro -with the exception of the access to El Corte Inglés-, in Hortaleza, which will remain with restrictions for at least one more week. In addition, the neighborhoods of

, in Móstoles, where there are already two confined areas - Mayor Bartolomé González and Felipe II-;
Getafe North

and
Catholic kings
and V
Centennial in Alcobendas
, a municipality in which La Moraleja remains closed for the moment, although in this case its evolution of cases has been downward in recent days.
Finally, the Basic Health Zones of Spain are in a worrying situation.

What is still being ruled out for the moment is an intensification of restrictions on trade and hospitality, which must remain closed during the night curfew from 00:00 to 06:00. «We think the context is very important, see the trend , see where the infections are occurring and why and take the most appropriate measures to cut growth, "said Antonio Zapatero, Deputy Minister of Public Health and the Covid-19 Plan.
