“According to NBU estimates, in 2020 the rate of decline in real GDP was 4.4%, which is less than expected in the previous forecast,” said the Chairman of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko.

At the same time, the regulator retained its forecast for GDP growth in Ukraine by 4.2% in 2021.

Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine kept the discount rate unchanged at 6% per annum.
