　　The cause of no casualties caused by the collapse of the pedestrian bridge of the Luoxi Bridge under construction in Guangzhou is under investigation

　　The reporter learned from the Guangzhou Transportation Bureau that at around 4:40 on December 3, the 19# pier of the pedestrian ramp bridge on the east side of the Panyu section of the Luoxi Bridge Widening Project had a slippage of the supporting beam support and 66-meter truss.

According to the Guangzhou Transportation Bureau, the incident did not cause casualties, and relevant experts have gone to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.

　　It is understood that the widening of the Luoxi Bridge is a key project of the Guangzhou Transportation Bureau to promote the construction of traffic projects. Construction began in May 2018 and is scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2020 to ease the traffic pressure on Guangzhou’s north-south direction.
