Weißenfels (AP) - The basketball players from Syntainics MBC have not stopped the triumphant advance of the MHP giants from Ludwigsburg.

The Weißenfels team lost their home game against the front runner on Saturday with 80:93 (37:47).

While the guests expanded their leadership position with their eleventh success in a row, the Central Germans fell back from eighth to tenth place in the table.

Barry Brown (21) and Jaleen Smith (19) stood out from a united guest team.

Roko Rogic (21) and Quinton Hooker (20) scored the most points for Weißenfels.

The home side got off to a furious start and after ten minutes they were ahead with 20:12.

But the Swabians struck back, turned the game around with a 14-2 run from 26:28 (15th) to 40:30 within three minutes and moved away to 54:37 by the 23rd minute.

The hosts could only do a little cosmetic result in the last quarter.
