The Hessians came to a 1-0 (0-0) against 1. FC Magdeburg on Saturday and climbed to third place in the third division table with 44 points, which entitles them to promotion relegation.
Jakov Medic scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute for Wiesbaden, who have now been unbeaten in ten league games.
