At around 23:8 on February 13th local time (22:8 on the 13th, Beijing time), an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 occurred in the eastern coastal waters of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures observed strong shaking with a magnitude of six.

Some experts said that this strong earthquake was the aftershock of the 2011 "March 11" earthquake, and there was no danger of causing a tsunami. Over 100 people have been injured in the earthquake.

  According to data from the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter of the earthquake was at 141.8 degrees east longitude and 37.7 degrees north latitude, with a focal depth of about 55 kilometers and no tsunami was triggered.

The earthquake was felt in many places such as Fukushima Prefecture and Miyagi Prefecture.

Tokyo also clearly felt the shaking.
