It does not go unnoticed with its five levels dressed in white and yellow cladding.

After two years of work, the new parking lot in Neustrie, in Bouguenais, opens its doors to motorists this Monday morning.

The building offers 780 secure spaces at the terminus of tram line 3.

If we add the two neighboring enclosed car parks, a total of a thousand parking spaces are now available, three times more than before.

The site also houses charging stations for electric vehicles and a bicycle shelter with 50 places.

The works, costing 13 million euros, also provided the opportunity to redevelop the bus-tram interchange.

"We must give ourselves the means"

"If we want to allow residents to change their travel habits, we must provide the means", justifies Johanna Rolland, president (PS) of Nantes Métropole.

This parking lot was eagerly awaited by the inhabitants of the south-Loire ”, confirms Sandra Impériale, mayor (various right) of Bouguenais?

The opening of the P + R in Neustrie completes the sequence of increasing the capacity of park and ride facilities that began in recent years.

In August, the new parking lot at Porte de Vertou, along busway line 4, unveiled 750 spaces on six floors, compared to around 300 previously.

New P + Rs were also created near the Zénith in 2019 and in Bouaye in 2020.
