Hanover / Bremen (dpa / lni) - By mid-February, the trade supervisory offices in Lower Saxony and Bremen had found only a few violations of the Corona occupational health and safety regulations.
In Lower Saxony, ten violations were found in 135 controls, as the Ministry of Health announced on request.
Further cases are still being examined.
In the registered cases, employers were asked to comply with the requirements.
An order of fines is not provided, it said.
Eight violations were registered in 33 controls in Bremen.
No fines had to be imposed there either.
"Experience so far indicates that the overwhelming majority of employers implement the regulation," said a spokesman for the health senator.
In most cases, the advice from the trade inspectorate was sufficient.
The focus of the controls in Bremen was on the transport and storage sectors.
According to the German Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) 's Corona Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance, employers must offer their employees the opportunity to carry out office work or similar activities in their home - if there are no compelling operational reasons to the contrary.
If that is not possible, companies should, for example, set up small and permanent work groups.

If an employer does not offer a home office, he must explain why this is not possible in his company.
If he does not do this, the authorities can ask him to give reasons.
The occupational health and safety ordinance has been in effect since January 27th and is limited to March 15th.
Compliance with the ordinance is to be monitored by the health and safety authorities of the federal states.
