Oberstdorf (dpa) - The German ski jumpers did not play a role in the team competition for the medals at the home World Cup.
Katharina Althaus, Juliane Seyfarth, Anna Rupprecht and Luisa Görlich only took fifth place on Friday in Oberstdorf.
The quartet from Austria won the gold medal, ahead of Slovenia and Norway.
Germany started the competition as defending champions, but this season cannot keep up with the absolute top of the world.
The day before, local hero Althaus was tenth as the best German.
