Augsburg (AP) - After his bad clash in the Bundesliga game at FC Augsburg, the Schalke striker Mark Uth is "approachable and stable".

The Royal Blues announced this on their Twitter account on Sunday during the game: "He is on the way to the clinic with our team doctor."

The former national soccer player hit the ground on Sunday a few minutes after kick-off after a header duel in midfield when he landed with his head on the ground and remained dazed.

The 29-year-old attacker had to be treated on the lawn for minutes.

His neck was stabilized and he was given an infusion.

Uth's teammates and the Schalke substitute players watched the scenes depressed.

Uth was eventually taken from the square on a stretcher.

After a long ball towards the center line in the air, he collided on the heads of Felix Uduokhai from Augsburg jumping from behind.
