Rises in gasoline prices during March
The sites of fuel distribution companies revealed today that the prices of gasoline, "gasoline", with its derivatives, "Super 98" and "Special 95", increased in their indicators as of the first of next March, with a value of 21 fils per liter, while the price of a liter of diesel increased by a value It amounted to 14 fils compared to February prices, according to the prices approved by the Committee for Follow-up of Prices of Various Fuels, including VAT at a rate of 5%.
The price hikes follow a period of stability recorded by gasoline prices, which lasted for about eleven months, from April of last year to February.
The price of a liter of "Super 98" gasoline increased from 1.91 dirhams, to 2.12 dirhams, an increase of 21 fils, while the price of a liter of "special 95" gasoline increased from 1.80 dirhams, to 2.01 dirhams, an increase of 21 fils.
The price of a liter of diesel increased from 2.01 dirhams per liter to 2.15 dirhams as of the beginning of next March.
It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average international oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
