Göteborg (AP) - Borussia Mönchengladbach's left-back Oscar Wendt is about to return to his home in Sweden, according to a media report.

As the “Aftonbladet” reported on Wednesday, the 35-year-old and the one year younger ex-Hamburger Marcus Berg will return to IFK Gothenburg this summer.

An agreement had been reached in both cases, the Swedish newspaper reported, citing informed circles.

Wendt will be signed for a year and a half, Berg for two and a half years.

The changes have not yet been officially confirmed by the club.

Both Berg's contract with the Russian first division club Krasnodar and that of fan favorite Wendt in Gladbach expire at the end of June.

IFK Göteborg was the first professional station for both of them.
