36,259 video consultation hours accounted for medical practices in the state, as the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Brandenburg (KVB) announced.

Since 2017, doctors have been allowed to bill for video consultations.
This has been in force for psychotherapists since 2019. In addition to a flat-rate fee, they receive additional surcharges.
Since March 2020 there is no limit to the billing for video consultation hours, previously this was limited to 50 hours per quarter.
