The Toyota stable continues to dominate the Monte Carlo rally.

Welshman Elfyn Evans had the lead after Friday's stage.

But when it was Saturday and more winter ground, it was stablemate Sebastien Ogier who was the fastest.

Ogier won the first leg by almost 18 seconds ahead of Evans.

Belgian Thierry Neuville won Saturday's second leg, and Ogier continued to extend Evans' lead.

But Evans pushed hard and won the final leg of the day, only a second ahead of Ogier.

"Has decided"

Now there is a total of 13 seconds difference between the two Toyota drivers before Sunday's final four distances.

To Ogier's advantage.

Third in total, another Toyota driver is in the Finn Kalle Rovanperä, 56 seconds behind Ogier.

- It was a pure run on my part today, Ogier expressed to wrc.com after the eleventh leg.

SVT Sports expert Jonas Kruse thinks it will be difficult to stop Ogier from winning this year's first World Cup rally.

- It feels like Ogier has decided, he will win the rally.

When he drives as he does now with that speed and safety, then he will be difficult to stop.

It is due to technical problems or punctures.

He radiates an enormous determination that is also visible in his driving, a glow that I have not seen in a long time at Ogier, says Jonas Kruse to SVT Sport.

Several drivers had problems on today's stage.

Among others, the 2019 world champion Ott Tänak - who was forced to break the eleventh leg.
