A man in his 40s was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of child prostitution for committing obscene acts at a hotel in Tokyo to a 13-year-old female junior high school student who met on SNS.
He was giving contraceptives instead of cash as compensation.
Keiichi Ono (43), an unemployed person in Akishima City, Tokyo, was arrested.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, in April last year, a 13-year-old female junior high school student who met on SNS was suspected of child prostitution for doing obscene acts at a hotel in Tachikawa city.
Ono got in touch with the victim's post saying, "I'm looking for someone to sell contraceptives," and when I called him to a hotel and did obscene acts, he didn't pay for cash. He was handing a low-dose pill of contraceptives.
He admitted to the investigation and stated that he had purchased the contraceptives online.
In addition, the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details of the suspect's previous sale of contraceptives to the victim's junior high school girls.
