Stina Nilsson impressed in her World Cup debut in biathlon with only one boom and a 26th place in the sprint.

NRK expert Liv Grete Skjelbreid thought that Nilsson would not get the chance in Östersund - but after the race, Skjelbreid admits that the Swede disproved her.

- What she manages to achieve today, I think is important for her in the future.

It was unexpected if you look at her previous results, and that means she has something in her, says Skjelbreid to NRK.

Stina Nilsson also praises Tiril Eckhoff, today's winner and winner of the overall World Cup.

- I told Stina that it was impressive what she did.

She can definitely be a threat in the future.

I've been doing this for 20 years, so it's hard.

She can be very, very good and I think she is motivated, says Eckhoff.
